Congratulations to ‘Brothers and Sisters’ for it’s 3 Emmy nominations. Sally Field received a nomination for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’, Rachel Griffiths was nominated for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’, and the show received a nomination for ‘Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series’. Congratulations again to the show, and congrats to Sally and Rachel!

Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable may be one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood and one of PEOPLE’s sexiest men alive, but to date this down-to-earth heartthrob, a woman will have to a be a sports fan. 
“She’s got to be able to hang. I’m big into sports and if she can sit down and try to learn, that’s cool,” Annable told PEOPLE at the Project A.L.S. “A Night to Believe” benefit at Mets’ Shea stadium. “As long as they put down that valiant effort is what I’m looking for.”
But if a girl doesn’t have the hand-eye coordination skills, that’s all right says the single actor. “I will give her a couple of times and if she doesn’t catch on, that’s fine,” he said. “But for her to sit down and watch football and figure out the rules and watch hockey or baseball with me would be the best.”
But a relationship deal breaker for the 28-year-old upstate New York native is cheering against the New York Mets. “That’s definitely a deal breaker! It would be off! I’m a die hard Mets fan. Mets only,” said Annable who grew up playing little league baseball.
As part of Project A.L.S. benefit, which raises funds in finding a treatment and a cure for a debilitating fatal muscle-wasting disease commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, Annable and Will & Grace’s Bobby Cannavale took to the field at Shea for batting practice.
“This a dream come true every year to get to stand at home plate and take some swings at batting,” Annable admitted. “I came close and almost hit the wall but I feel like I need to do a few more push ups this year to get that last one over.”
An American actor, Dave Annable’s TV credits include “Reunion” and “Brothers & Sisters.” His film credits include “Little Black Book.” Dave Annable was born in Suffern, New York and grew up in Walden, a small town in upstate New York, with his two sister Rebecca and step-sister Stacey. He has always loved sports; his favorites include hockey, baseball, and rugby.
Annable moved to New York City to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He booked a national Starburst commercial two months later and subsequently has shot six more national commercials.
He played Brittany Murphy’s college boyfriend in the feature Little Black Book, and soon booked two pilots for Fox, including the never aired pilot of Other People’s Money, which led to his being cast in the role of “Aaron” in Reunion.
Currently, Dave has been casted for the role of “Justin Walker” on ABC’s new show, Brothers and Sisters.
